Functioning of Estates Department
The department maintains Civil Secretariat, Jammu/Srinagar, Legislature Complex Jammu/Srinagar(old), Old Secretariat Complex, Srinagar residential quarter/bungalows. Also provide adequate facilities both in Civil Secretariat and residential units owned by the department.
Maintain and supervision of Estates Colonies.
Allotment of accommodation in different Estates Colonies to Move and Non-Move employees.
Allotment of accommodation to Hon’ble Ministers, Hon’ble Judges of High Court, Legislators etc.
Revenue realization from Government Quarters and other commercial properties.
Regular repair and renovation of Government building by Engineering Wing.
